Overall solid performance; a few quirks; recommended I bought this 3 phone set at Target directly for about $70. I also considered the 5.8Ghz model (similar features but pricier) and some Panasonic multi handsets but they were almost all pricier. Our house is in a neighborhood of 1/3 acre lots so interference density is fairly low. Figured I would try the 2.4 model first to see if it works well with neighbors all using cordless and several wireless Internet signals floating around. Overall, it works well for us, I'd recommend it to others, and would buy it again. +++++PLUSSES+++++++++ Good sound, good signal, good features Physical size and shape is good; one of the reasons I like this is that even though it is small, you can cradle it comfortably; feels light but solid in your hand. Good battery life and good range Easy to set up; menu options pretty straightforward. Speakerphone is excellent. Ringer tone options are a gift for us. Several good softer options, but only 2 volume settings. We found 2 that work well for us. We'll probably buy an extra 4th handset when we decide we need one upstairs. We have 3 Apple computers all using a airport express base station for wireless networking. We have not had any interference, even though they are both on the 2.4 Ghz band. My wife decided in her post-pregnancy brain state to run one handset through the heavy duty wash cycle, and 2 rinse cycles just for fun. The waterlogged handset looked bad, but after taking it apart, 10 minutes with a hairdryer and 30 min in our dryer's drying rack on low heat, all the condensation was gone. It would turn on but not work properly. But we charged it overnight and the next morning it was perfect. We expect it to die, but pretty impressive that it could recover with minimal drying effort on our part. We recover car key remotes this way, too. --------MINUSES---------- Some other reviews discuss the buttons. Here is the deal. The SIZE of the buttons is fine, but they are both small-ish AND high profile so it seems like they are "too small". A better design would have been to leave them flush with the case (like our cell phones, the buttons on which are even smaller, but don't SEEM small because there is plenty of space around them.) Room Monitor: works very well, but when you activate it, the phone that "listens" rings this horribly loud ring that you cannot control in the menu. Uniden obviously did not give parents a chance to test because with our light sleeping kids we would like to turn on the room monitor without having to sound a fire alarm in our house. Also, because these have a "directlink" mode that allows them to behave like walkie-talkies away from the base, I assumed we could take them to a friend's house and use them as room monitors there. But, no - room monitor feature has to use the base. Direct link does not. But room monitor and direct link cannot be used together. Bummer. Backlight should stay on while phone is in the base, but it's not. Should be a menu feature. What a deal! Inexpensive multi handset system. Packed with features, we especially like the room monitor, speaker phone on each handset, and direct connect feature (lets you use the phones as walkie-talkies away from your home.) I have two of these systems in my house, total of 6 phones, and we use Vonage broadband phone service. These phones are PERFECT for us, and integrate nicely with Vonage(or any other phone company with voicemail.) One touch voicemail access, blinking light message indicator, etc. Truly awesome for the small amount of $ they cost. Excellent Price, Good Quality I have numerous Uniden Cordless Phones in the past, and not had any problems with them. So this time when I was shopping at Target I picked this package up because it was an incrediable value compared to other companies who were charging the same price for only two handsets - and that includes the base. So I get these thing home and they are like mini cell phones: Light up easy to read screen Voice Mail Indicator Caller ID Call Waiting A lot of ring tones Excellent sound quality Battery indicator right on the screen Very light weight Stylish Very easy to use I have no bones with these phones, ya they are not 5.8GHz but I still get good range with them, and it doesn't mess with my wireless internet connection, this is just a great bargain for you dollar!

Shure E2c Sound Isolating Earphones
From Shure

The E2c's unique, affordable design comes from Shure's years of collaborating with professional musicians. Featuring a high energy speaker in a distinctive enclosure, the E2c produces studio-quality sound with excellent isolation from background noise.
Brand: Shure Model: E2C Dimensions: .7 pounds
Shure's E2c in-ear headphones are tiny, lightweight, and designed to sonically outperform most ear-bud-style headphones. The E2c's unique, relatively affordable design comes from Shure's years of collaborating with professional musicians. With high-energy drivers in distinctive enclosures, the E2c produces high-quality sound with excellent isolation from background noise. The E2c's speakers are constructed with studio-grade components, producing exceptional audio clarity. Their in-ear design, using supplied flex sleeves, naturally blocks background noise. This permits lower listening volumes in loud environments--critical in safeguarding your hearing during performance or other activities. No batteries or extra equipment are needed for sound isolation. Because every ear is different, E2c earphones come with 3 pairs (small, medium, large) of flex sleeves and 3 pairs (small, medium, large) ultra-soft flex sleeves to ensure a personalized fit. These disposable foam sleeves gently compress to fit in the ear canal. Once in the ear, the foam expands to form a tight seal. Once tightly sealed, the sleeves hold the earphones firmly in place. The E2c's cables pass behind the ear--out of sight and out of the way for comfort and discretion. Weighing only 1 ounce, the E2c is lightweight and comfortable enough for any portable listening application. The set comes with a soft, stylish, compact, and zippered carrying case, which allows for an easy, tangle-free way to store your earphones. What's in the Box Earphones, 2 triple-flange sleeves, 3 pairs (small, medium, large) of flex sleeves, and 3 pairs (small, medium, large) ultra-soft flex sleeves (kit 90XC1371, with cleaning tool), a soft carry case (80B8232), a user's manual, and warranty information.
great product, and Shure stands by it Like many people, I was tempted by the good reviews but reluctant to pay so much for a pair of tiny earphones. Finally, almost 2 years ago, I bought a pair. Like all of the other reviews here state, the Shure E2c's sound GREAT. They are very balanced, and let you hear the subtle details of your music, making the music almost come alive in your head. They turn your MP3 player or Discman into an audiophile-quality stereo system. The E2c blocks outside noise by forming a very tight seal in your ear. In contrast, "noise canceling" earphones, such as the popular ones by Bose, do not block outside noise from reaching your ear, rather they add their own electronically generated noise which is supposed to cancel out the outside noise. I've never had good results with the various noise canceling headphones I've tried; plus, they require batteries to generate the noise-canceling noise. The E2c's block noise without batteries, and without adding any artificial noise or discoloration to your music. It works very well. I especially appreciate it at gym, on the bus or subway, and on a plane. (Warning - PLEASE don't wear the E2c's while driving or bicycling or any other time that safety requires your full attention!) The build quality of the E2c's is very good - the cord and plug are thicker and sturdier than competing earphones. For 2 years, I heavily used and abused my E2c's, especially at the gym. Literally hundreds and hundreds of times, I've plugged and unplugged them into my various MP3 players, hastily wound and unwound the cord, and tossed them into my gym bag, usually without using the protective case that comes with the E2c's. Despite the very good build quality, my heavy use led finally to a short: when the cord was wiggled in a certain way, the sound on the left side would briefly go out. I went to Shure's website and saw that they have a 2-year warranty. I sent my E2c's to Shure for repair, hoping it would be covered by warranty, but prepared to pay if Shure felt the problem was due to wear and tear (because, in fact, it was). Two weeks later, I received from Shure a BRAND-NEW PAIR of E2c's - they decided the problem WAS covered by the warranty, and wanted me to have a new pair rather than repairing my old ones!!! This is more than I expected, and will make me a repeat buyer of Shure products! I especially appreciate this level of service given the lackluster support I've received from so many other companies. awesome pair of phones, three caveats I am totally into these noise-cancelling earphones and they perfectly complement my iRiver mp3 player/recorder in sound and color. Once you've gotten over their higher price point, have followed the enclosed instructions exactly and begun to use them, there is no going back to the normal, flat sounding buds. They isolate exterior noise and that is a boon if you live in a noisy environment, like NYC infamously is. Experiment with using the foam vs. the flex sleeves to your taste. I've stuck with the smallest of the three sized flex sleeves and after two days testing my ears were used to the slight increase in pressure. A warning: be careful not to turn the volume up too high in public as one needs to be able to know when her/his attention is required, among other things. Be extra aware of traffic when on the street. Also, high volume just is not necessary as ALL exterior racket (subways, curse-laden conversations and car horns) is rendered mutedly surreal. Also, be mindful of its carrying case. I've had my pair for almost a year now and the case's cable spool has bent the cord's wire covering to such an extent that it is now exposed. Far be it from me to walk around town like a super-geek w/ electrical tape on mine; I plan to replace them with one from amazon's marketplace sellers for cheaper when Santa comes around this December. But be advised to remove the interior cable spool completely and keep the headphones rolled up manually before placing them inside the case. The case is very durable, zips up securely, is nonbreakable, has a soft protective interior and is lightweight. One other observation -- use q-tips and rubbing alcohol to regularly clean the flex sleeves if you decide to use those. The foam probably would just wear out completely. Shure's website does sell replacment sleeves (both foam and flex) for $10-$12 each w/ 5 pair included, which is nice. I honestly would have given the product five stars if it wasn't for the breaking of the wire cover coupled with their already high price. The warnings above should keep yours in good working shape for years though and this is a great investment for all digital audiophiles. :-) Excellent product, blows any earbud away! I bought these earphones for a combination of uses - travel, exercise, casual listening, etc. They are great. The noticeable background noise attenuation is perfect for flights, busy airports, mowing the lawn or anywhere you want to tune out the outside world. Bass response is very good, I'd call it neutral (which is the best thing a serious music fan can ask for.) These earphones are very low profile and unobtrusive to wear. They do not create the fatigue I get while wearing regular headphones for a long period and the sound blows away the numerous earbuds I have tried. I use the flex fit sleeves which are very comfortable. By cinching up the sleeve on the cord, they stay in place with minimal fuss even while exercising. I strongly recommend these earbuds to anyone who wants immersive, comfortable and excellent sound.

Most noise-reducing headphones feature large over-the-head or behind-the-neck headbands, making them a bit bulky to use while traveling or working out. Not so the Sony MDR-EX51LP Fontopia headphones, whose ultra-light in-the-ear design sounds great while minimizing distracting ambient noise. The closed-type construction makes the headphones a perfect fit for airline, train, or bus travel, or while dancing or skating to your own tune. The phones owe their audio performance to the extra-small 9 mm drivers and neodymium magnets fitted inside each earpiece. The drivers and magnets combine to generate high-intensity sound, with a deeper-than-expected bass response (as low as 6 Hz) and refreshingly crisp mid- and high-range tones. Listeners will also welcome the two sizes of ear buds that come with the headphones, ensuring that users find the right match for their individual ear shapes. The soft silicone buds are also responsible for much of the noise reduction. Additional features include an oxygen-free copper cord that reduces noise and improves signal transfer, a gold-plated mini-plug that resists corrosion, a stylish neck chain cord, and a streamlined carrying case that easily slips into a shirt pocket. Give them time before you decide I ordered these because the Apple headphones that came with my iPod Mini kept falling out at the gym, and also lacked adequate bass response. When I first tried the Sony phones at home, I was disappointed. I did not like how they fit, and the sound didn't seem to be any better than the originals. However, I decided to try them out at the gym, since that was why I got them in the first place. It took me a while to get used to the cords being different lengths, but now I like that feature, becaue I can have them out and around my neck, even when they're not in my ears. This is convenient when I'm at the airport or on a plane, and have to be listening for boarding calls or announcements, but don't want to put the headphones away. As for the fit and sound, I found that after I had them in for a few minutes, I hardly noticed them at all, and the sound is a lot better than the Apple headphones. As many other reviewers have noted, you must insert these headphones fully into your ear canal, or they won't stay in and they won't sound good. It sounds a lot more intrusive than it feels, at least for me. I can wear them for hours without any problems at all. While they are not really noise-canceling headphones, they do effectively isolate you from all but the loudest ambient sounds. This makes them ideal for air travel and other times you want to block out external noise. I am pleased to have headphones that allow me to enjoy my iPod more fully than the originals ever did. A terrific value in inexpensive earbuds with decent sound My EX51s have been trouble free for several months, despite some mild abuse. They stay in place fairly well after fitting the proper-sized rubber sleeves, and they're comfortable enough to fall asleep with. The "behind the neck" cord requires some adjustment, but aftter learning how to wear it properly (entire cord behind neck, main cord clipped to shirt or collar to relieve strain) I adapted quickly. The sound quality is surprisingly good for buds cheap enough to regard as disposable, though they seemed rather shrill at first. Several hours of burn-in were required to tame the tizzy highs. Clarity & detail are better than with the standard iPod buds. Frequency response is fairly neutral (using my Sennheiser HD590s for comparison), with a slight treble boost and the bottom end rolled off just a bit. Sound isolation seems nearly ideal to me, with perhaps a 15dB reduction of external noise--enough to make outside sounds unobtrusive, but still permitting one to hear approaching cars when running on public roads. Though I've been disappointed by Sony products in the past, I don't hesitate to recommend the EX51s as a terrific value. UPDATE Dec '09: This review was based on Amazon's price of ~$20. At that price, they were a bargain, but not at $40 or $50! Yes, the rubber decomposes. I had the same issue as other people who have written reviews. The rubber started decomposing shortly after I got it, but I didn't notice until I got a mild shock. Then I saw that a good portion of the rubber had definitely lost its color and composition. By the time I called, it was out of warranty (though I'm not sure even if the warranty would have covered it). I called Sony, and replacements are $25. More than buying them here on amazon. Oh, well, I'll just keep the rubber earbuds as spares for the other Sony buds I have. Do yourself a favor and get the black equivalent - the black tubing is physically different (a little tougher, and doesn't decompose). They might be a dollar or so more, and they might not match your iPod, but they'll last you a lot longer.

Unimpressed I had a Samung phone before and knew how the buttons all worked. I assumed Samsung would maintain the same good-sense button logic on newer, similar model phones. I was wrong. I've got a few problems which I outline below: LOCK BUTTON SUCKS - I keep my phone in my pocket. Even though I've enabled the Lock feature, you can unlock it without opening the phone, so you can accidentally unlock it. (What kind of lock is that?) When it unlocks while in my pocket, sometimes the camera feature gets pressed, and I have a dozen black photos of the inside of my pocket. Similarly, the voice dial can be enabled, and I hear a voice from my pocket asking me to re-say the name I wish to dial. "Wish to dial?" I locked the dang thing! I didn't want to call anyone! CONTACT LIST SCROLLING - My old Samsung had external side buttons that, when showing the contact list, would 'page down' or 'page up' scrolling through the contact list. On the u540, the buttons do nothing, and you have to choose the first letter of the name of the person you wish to call from the keypad. It requires far more attention to chose a letter than to just scroll down. DEFUALT RINGTONES STINK - This may just be because of my carrier (Verizon), but all the default ringtones are irritating. There's nothing mellow or unobtrusive. If you want to have something else, you have to pay extra. Since mine is a company phone, I don't think management is gonna like paying for 'ringtones' or having to go to the effort of getting $3 from me. What a hassle. Also, after browsing the Verizon site, all the ringtones are pop songs. Whatever happened to a simple ring? LITTLE BUILT-IN MEMORY - You can take photos, video and listen to music! But only if you go and buy a chip. Some aren't too expensive, but it's still just another barrier to enjoying the phone. SLOPPY HINGE - I'd expect a product like this to be made to tight specs. When the phone is closed, the 'screen' half is loose. It wiggles on top of the 'button' half and gives the phone a flimsy feel to it. Also, you'd think with stereo speakers on the outside on top, you'd think the phone has speaker phone ability. It doesn't. SOME GOOD POINTS - It's sleek and thin (though if you get the extended battery like I did, it ain't so thin). I seem to be easily heard by people I call, and the buttons are large enough to press easily. The screen is bright and readable. The camera has some good controls on it (exposure bias, ISO, etc), which surprised me. All in all I'm disappointed. I really just want a good phone as a phone. Make calls, accept calls, and usually sit there quietly. Given the chance again, I would not choose this phone. ***EDIT***: I've since discovered that my carrier, Verizon, has put its own interface/software on this phone to make it match all its other phones (in order to simplify tech support, I suppose). Most of my complaints about this phone actually stemmed from the fact that Verizon did a poor job of making the buttons work sensibly, including the poor selection of default ringtones. With another carrier/interface this phone would likely perform differently. This discovery partially renewed my confidence with Samsung technology, though further aggravates my frustrations with Verizon Wireless. Samsung missed the point The purpose of a cell phone is to communicate. This phone does have many features and does have style, but it can't communicate. The talk-out is perfect, no complaints from callers. The problem with this phone is the earpiece. The volume is loud and can rattle the phone, but the earpiece hole doesn't let the sound out of the phone. Very hard to hear and understand the caller. The phone may be OK with bluetooth. Took mine back after two weeks and exchanged for a LG 8600. Big difference in voice reception. good phone, mediocre battery life I replaced an older Samsung A670 with this phone several months ago and am overall very pleased with it. It is much thinner and lighter and can easily be forgotten in my pocket. Reception: It's a little better than my previous Samsung and on par with my wife's Motorolla crazr. It works just about anywhere to include basements and elevators. I don't know what was wrong with the previous reviewers speaker but I can understand others just fine. I also keep the volume all the way up and it doesn't cause my phone to rattle. The default ringtones do stink but I have yet to see a Samsung where they don't. I think the designers have a 70's disco fetish. There are a couple basic ringtones and those work well for me. The lock button feature does suck on this one. It doesn't seem to stay locked on my phone for very long. I have yet to take a picture with it in my pocket though. That happened daily with my old A670. Battery life: I'm actually on my 2nd phone and 3rd battery. I was surprised when my first phone ran through it's charge within 36 hours of minimal to moderate use. I used to charge my A670 2-3x/week and my old LG once per week. This thing is on the charger at least every other night and many times every night. I am not a heavy cell user. We tried changing phones first with the same results. Then we changed batteries and there did seem to be some improvement. The tech at the Verizon store said that it's normal to have to charge the phone every night. I don't think he read the manual for the phone. I don't use the mp3 player function but I'd be willing to bet it would eat the battery very quickly. The camera is acceptable but it's still a cameraphone, which I don't think is good for much. Perhaps the fact that the phone comes unlocked has something to do with it because the mp3 buttons are pretty sensitive. I wear loose slacks though so there is not a lot of pressure on the buttons. It is an annoyance but it's not enough to outweigh the lightweight and slender design, which is the most important feature for me. The construction is no different that other cells I've used. Drop it and it may loosen. Mine has maybe 1mm of deflection when I try to slide the two halfs back and forth. I like something that feels solid, not like it was made by a toy manufacturer. This phone is solid (and it's been dropped a few times). If I had to go buy another cell phone right now I'd buy this one again.

GE Cordless 5.8 GHz Edge 25931EE1 Phone with 1 Handset and Call Waiting Caller ID
From GE

5.8 GHZ EDGE Cordless Call Waiting/Caller ID Phone, Speakerphone, Expandable
Color: Silver/Black Brand: Thomson Model: 25931EE1 Released on: 2006-05-22 Dimensions: 7.45" h x 4.04" w x 4.57" l, 2.00 pounds

Nice! I bought this a couple of days ago. I needed an expandable, and was looking at my local Sears, and saw this cool telephone! It was $49.99, so I thought I'd give it a try! It came with 2 handsets, but it is expandable up to 4 handsets, and I put the main telephone in my bedroom and the other telephone in another bedroom. bought it because you only need to plug the main telephone into a telephone jack. The others plug into an outlet, and locate the main handset, and it still works like a regular telephone! I LOVE IT! I'm going to buy 2 more handsets for it soon! I highly recommend it! Nice product At first I was getting alot of static on this phone, but once I found an outlet where it didn't have intereference from other electrical items, it was fine. Its clear and has nice features. very bad battery life it is just a normal 5.8Ghz Cordless phone, but the battery life is very short, I just own it no more than 6 months, and the battery not chargeable completely, and the new battery cost almost $20, and having same problem. I won't buy it again even it is free.

Great Phone! I've had this phone for several years now and i must say its a really great phone! The best feature for me is the talking caller id from the handset and the base! I can listen to who's calling without having to get up and check the box or my phone. What impressed me the most about this phone is I had it outside, forgot it was sitting on the trunk of the car and when the car moved of course it fell to the ground. Well i was really impressed to find out that not only did the back where the battery is stored came off which of course made the battery come out, once i put it back together it still worked!! Now i can no longer 'see' whose calling, it looks like i have a huge ink spot in the screen, but the talking id still works as well as the ringer!! It took a licking but its still ticking!! The only phone i'll ever use! Extra telephones These phones are a wonderful addition to your home network. It's hard to find the right models in retail stores but Amazon seems to manage to find ANYTHING you need or want. I love these phones! Great phone, great vendor I had trouble finding these portables to compliment our system. The vendor's product was like brand new and arrived very fast.

Marketing description is not available.

Doesn't do well in some of the phones listed I ordered two of these to replace old batteries in a VTech model 2421 and extension handset 2420. If I'm lucky, they'll hold a charge for maybe an hour of talk time after being on the charger for a full day. I don't blame the seller, because the packaging clearly states that the battery will work with those phones. Note: The batteries I received are GE model TL26511, and the color is black rather than the green shown. Very Prompt Service Received this order promptly and in good condition. The pricing was perfect. Bad!!!! These batteries could not sustain a 5 minute call before the low battery indicator came on. This is after full days charging, even though it was stated that it was compatible with the 2420 model. In addition, it might be coincidental but the instrument started to malfunction after using these batteries and is now unusable and had to be dumped. Very bad buy.

A nice little headset for not too much money I ordered this headset to replace a Jabra JX10 which did not survive a trip through the washing machine. I place a premium on lightness and comfort and have been thoroughly spoiled by the insignificant weight of the Jabra. I'm happy to report that the Z9i is even better. To sum up quickly, range is excellent. I can go out to 20+ feet before the signal begins to degrade. The ear loop is comfortable and the very light weight (roughly 1/3 ounce) means that the headset can be worn for hours without distress. Volume is ample, though not as loud as the Jabra, and noise reduction is such that I can speak intelligibly at expressway speeds with all my car windows open. I do not detect much difference in the normal and maximum noise reduction settings, though. I can't really speak to battery life because my headset lives on the charger at night. For comparison's sake, I borrowed a friend's Aliph Jawbone II for a few days while he used my Z9i. We agreed at the conclusion that there was no significant difference in the performance of the two. The Jawbone is a very fine instrument, too, though it is significantly more expensive and takes a little care to be certain that the movement sensor touches the cheek. The price is reasonable and I cannot imagine anyone being unhappy with the BlueAnt Z9i. Comfortable, but bad sound quality. "Isolation" doesn't work. I recently got a new job that has enough of a commute that I wanted a decent headset. I've had a bunch of cheaper headsets (

From Motorola

The E51 digital cordless phone has many advanced features. The 5.8 GHz digital technology offers improved security and clarity. So wherever you are in your home, enjoy crystal clear conversation.

Bad buttons I have four of these handsets, and two of them have many buttons you have to really mash to get them to work. I would not recommend them. Perhaps latter versions have fixed this issue. If it were not for the bad buttons, this would be an excellent phone. Great phone! I bought the answering machine with two handsets and needed a third. Clear sound, good range, especially good volume control, no static. I've had several different brands, and Motorola is the best! I highly recommend it. Perfect addition My husband and I love the phone, so much so that we purchased another one for our newly finished garage. Good clean sound and works well. Never had a poblem with them, so when we needed another extension for my husbands garage - the choice was easy.

Amazon Sales Rank: #10735 in Cell Phone Accessories Color: Black Brand: Motorola Model: V9 Released on: 2007-08-24
After creating a gadget/fashion icon in the original MOTORAZR, Motorola has upped the ante with the new RAZR2 V9 with cutting edge technology and enhanced features that make it even easier to use. Offered via AT&T, the RAZR2 V9 offers super-fast downloads and multimedia streaming via AT&T's 3G HSDPA/UMTS network. It's fully loaded with an arsenal of digital tools, including a 2-megapixel camera/camcorder, Bluetooth connectivity for streaming music and photo printing, MicroSD memory card expansion, dual color LCD screens, e-mail access, digital audio player, and full duplex speakerphone. And speaking of cutting edge, the phone's stainless steel internal frame and cast aluminum housing support makes the RAZR2 V9 stronger and more durable than its predecessor. Sleeker, smarter, stronger: the RAZR2 V9 boasts a durable stainless steel frame and chemically hardened glass displays. AT&T Service The RAZR2 V9 can handle high-speed data connectivity via AT&T's 3G mobile broadband data network, which is available in most major metropolitan areas. The AT&T 3G network uses HSDPA/UMTS technology (High Speed Downlink Packet Access/Universal Mobile Telephone System), making it possible to enjoy a variety of feature-rich wireless services with speeds up to 3.6 Mbps. It also gives AT&T the advantage of offering simultaneous voice and data services. In areas where the 3G network is not available, you'll continue to receive service on the AT&T EDGE network, which offers availability in more than 13,000 US cities and along some 40,000 miles of major highways. Providing average data speeds between 75-135Kbps, it's fast enough to support a wide range of advanced data services, including video and music clips, full picture and video messaging, high-speed color Internet access, and email on the go. With 3G connectivity, you'll be able to access AT&T's Cellular Video (CV) service and the Internet while on the go. Cellular Video features content from CNN, The Weather Channel, iFilm, Comedy Central and exclusive premium content from HBO and much more. It also features AT&T Mobile Music, which provides access to the Napster subscription music as well as Music ID song-recognition software, music videos and The Buzz music news portal. The handset is MobiTV and XM Radio Mobile-capable, so you can enjoy streaming live TV and digital radio all in one device. (A MEdia Max subscription bundle is recommended for accessing AT&T's Internet, video, and music services.) With its quad-band connectivity, this phone communicates over GSM/GPRS networks and AT&T offers voice roaming in more than 190 countries and data roaming in more than 130 countries. Phone Features Designed to be even sharper than before, the RAZR2 V9 shaves two millimeters from the original MOTORAZR. Its one-piece housing has no parting lines (meaning fewer chances of break points) and the cast aluminum hinge underwent more than 100,000 lab tests to ensure durability. Even the exterior camera lens is stronger, as it is made with chemically hardened glass. Despite its slimmer profile, the RAZR2 V9 offers enhanced dual screens that make the phone seem larger. The 2.2-inch internal screen offers twice the resolution of the original MOTORAZR while the 2-inch external screen is great for checking caller photo ID, easily reading incoming text messages, and controlling music playback through onscreen controls. Other Motorola-engineered enhancements include: Upgraded Interface: With the redesigned, more intelligent interface, you'll be able to search for contacts faster and avoid duplicate entries for the same person while allowing contacts to have multiple numbers. The customizable main menu means you're never more than 2 to 3 clicks away from your favorite applications. And text messaging is easier, with the V9 recognizing what type of message you are sending. CrystalTalk Technology: This innovative feature automatically accounts for background noise during a call and adjusts the audio quality based on ambient noise conditions to provide the optimal conversational experience. CrystalTalk also reduces the volume of the background noise picked up by the microphone during a call, making it possible to be more easily heard over the phone while in a noisy environment. Talk to Me: Originally designed to address the needs of those with vision impairment, the RAZR2 V9 is able to read the phone's interactive menus, contacts, messages and more aloud--adding convenience to your on-the-go lifestyle. SMS messages on the phone can be read and replied to with pre-programmed text messages without ever having to open up the flip. Haptics: Motorola has incorporated breakthrough haptics technology--an interface that creates tactile feedback--that provides vibrating feedback in response to your finger taps. When combined with the virtual music keys, the haptics technology helps you to effortlessly control music playback. The 2-megapixel camera includes an 8x digital zoom and it can automatically snap up to eight new pictures--letting you choose the best image from a complete series of pictures. You can even print photos wirelessly to a Bluetooth-compatible printer with just a few menu selections. It provides four resolution choices (from 320 x 240 to 1600 x 1200 pixels) and also features a self-timer, free memory space indicator, color effects, night mode for low-light shots, and five shutter sounds (with a silent mode). The RAZR2 V9 is also an impressive video camcorder, providing up to QCIF resolution (176 x 144 pixels). It also gives you the option of choosing the video format, which offers different frame rates--25 fps for MPEG and H263 and 15 fps for WMV and Real. You can record video for as long as you have available space on your MicroSD memory card. Control music playback with the virtual digital audio player buttons on the V9's external screen, which includes tactile feedback. With up to 2 GB of storage (via optional MicroSD memory card), the RAZR2 V9 can store up to 1000 of your favorite songs. It offers compatibility with Microsoft Windows Media Player 11, enabling easy synchronization and transfer between phone and PC. You'll be able to modify music playback with the flip closed thanks to the virtual contextual music controls that appear on the external screen. And you can keep playing music even while surfing the web, sending text messages, or even using the camera. This phone provides Bluetooth version 2.0 wireless connectivity with EDR (enhanced data rate), and includes profiles for communication headset, handsfree car kits, and audio/video remote control. With the A2DP Bluetooth profile, you can stream your music to a pair of compatible Bluetooth stereo headphones. You can connect your laptop (either via Bluetooth or wired USB) and enjoy dial-up networking--surf the Internet, send email, and access files from a server. The RAZR2 V9 features a full HTML browser (Opera 8.5) that takes advantage of high-speed wireless data connections for faster, bigger and richer web surfing experience. Built-in e-mail functionality (POP/IMAP/SMTP) combined with MobileSync software provides easy, PC-like access to both personal and corporate e-mail accounts and calendars. Other features include: 45 MB internal flash memory Up to 1000 contact entries, each with up to six numbers and two email addresses Bluetooth wireless connectivity (version 2.0 with Enhanced Data Rate) with profiles for communication headsets, handsfree, stereo music streaming, audio/video remote control, printing, dial-up networking, and file transfer USB 2.0 wired connectivity, with mass storage capability Includes Bowling3D and Diner Dash games, with more downloadable via AT&T Polyphonic and MP3 ringtones Voice command and dialing, as well as ability to record voice memos PIM functions including calendar, calculator, alarm clock, and world clock Vital Statistics The RAZR2 V9 weighs 4.41 ounces and measures 4.06 x 2.09 x 0.53 inches. It runs on the 850/900/1800/1900 GSM/GPRS/EDGE/HSDPA frequencies as well as 850/1900 WCDMA (3G) frequencies.
Best. Cell Phone. Ever. I just purchased this phone a week ago and I have been nothing but impressed. What some of the website reviews are missing is the fact you can access the music player and camera while the flip is closed. The touch screen buttons on the external screen work great. It is also nice that the external screen can be locked so nothing is pressed accidentally. Phone quality is excellent. I did not experience any echoing or static while on calls. Picture and music quality is also great. This phone really can double as a music player. I have never listened to a phone with such great music quality. Even Sony Ericsson's Walkman line can't touch it. Another thing no review tells you is the fact the phone comes with a mini USB adapter so you can use the original RAZR accessories. It also comes packaged with a 3.5mm headset adapter so you can use regular headphones with the phones. Both adapters work great with no hiccups. It is also nice that you can use the phone as an external storage device granted you have a microSD card inserted and a USB cable that can connect the computer from the phone. Because of this feature, I have been able to create my own ringtones and put them on the phone. To transfer data to the phone, no other applications are required. Just drag and drop through Windows Explorer. Overall, this a cell phone packing every feature I would need. The only quip I have the phone is the fact that the outside smudges easily (though it can be wiped clean just as easily). Also, it would be nice to activate the speaker phone before making phone calls (like you can with Verizon phones). Other than that, this is a great phone purchase, though the asking price of $299 ($179 on Amazon.com) with a 2 year agreement can turn away some. But of course, the original RAZR was $500 when it made its debut. Another Great Moto Phone Just got this phone a few weeks ago, and I've had plenty of time to test most of the features, and it is by far the best phone I've had in a while. I wasn't really interested in getting a flip phone again, because I do like the "candy bar" style phones, but those are getting phased out more year after year, so I had to go with it again. My last phone was a Moto v551, and this phone is better than that one in just about all areas. The internet works much cleaner on this phone, it's easier to shop for games, tones, and wall papers. You can use it as an MP3 player, with very good sound quality on it. The sound quality is by far the biggest improvement. Wow. I NEVER could use my old phone in my home. The calls would sound like the person is about 500 feet from me, not 5 feet, as with the RAZR2. The larger display, and the huge front display are very noticeable, and I do enjoy being able to use a picture on the front of the phone to determine if it's someone I want to talk to at the time or not. Games and ring tones seem to work a LOT better on the RAZR2. Downloading, installing, playing takes almost no time. I love the CV thing on this phone. Being able to watch a lot of videos (including my TNA Wrestling) on the phone at a moment's notice. Very nice. The camera, although I'll rarely use it, is nice. High quality pictures (2.0 Megapixel). It'll never match up to a real digital camera, but it's very good nonetheless. The ONLY flaw I can see that the phone has, is not a major one. To me, anyway. The number pad isn't as easy to just dial without looking. The 5-key has a bump on it, but that's it. I guess it's due to the whole pad being one singular piece, instead of individual buttons. It's not a big enough issue for me to grant this great phone only four stars though. One last thing..the T9 texting on this phone is GREAT. Seems to work much better than the v551, but I believe that has more to do with the dedicated "Back" button on the phone. I love that feature. No more having to figure out how to go back..it's right there. Even for browsing. I'm not too high on the "Mahogany" color, but I had to get a new phone, and this is the only color Cingular currently offers. I know they'll have others soon (Verizon's looks really nice) but I care less about colors, and more about functionality. In all seriousness, even if the only color they had was pink, purple, or rainbow, I'd still take it. This phone is THAT good, that you care less about how manly you look carrying it around, and moreso about all the neat things it has to offer. RAZR2 9 Not Identical Across Carriers. It isn't obvious at first (and neither Motorola nor the carriers makes it easy to figure out) but the RAZR2 9's each carrier offers are NOT identical except for the carrier's services and coverage. The CDMA version (9m) carried by Verizon and Sprint has A-GPS for navigation, but is otherwise a stripped down, less-capable model than the V9-Mahogony carried by AT&T. That GSM/HSDPA version available with AT&T offers a processor that is twice as fast as the Verizon version's (500 MHz vs 225 MHz), 262K colors on screen (v.s. 65k), full HTML browsing vs. WAP2, and CrystalTalk, the signal-processing software that supposedly makes conversations clearer and adjusts volume (said to be quite good but MIA with Verizon). Although the amp demand is higher on the GSM/H version, it is said to have longer battery life, although I have not compared them. I believe the OS is different, but not sure if I recall correctly. A few of the interface elements, and external buttons appear different, although I haven't put them side-by-side yet. Whether those features outweigh the navigation offered by Verizon's 9m, is subjective, but beware that the phones are much, more differentiated on the various carriers than the original Razr. UPDATE: Nov24. The naming has been changed on Amazon and the Motorola site. The GSM/HSDPA/AT&T version is now the "9" and the Verizon/Sprint/CDMA version is the "9m". Again, the GSM/HSDPA/AT&T version is more capable.

Brand: Audio-Technica Model: ATH-PRO700SV Dimensions: 4.50" h x 7.50" w x 11.00" l, 1.50 pounds

Audio-Technica ATH-Pro700 - One of the greatest Studio Monitor ***** Audio-Technica never stop improving their studio grade products even they have the respectable "ATH-M40FS" in their arsenal. This ATH-Pro700 packed with tons of new technologies and the sound is a leap forward ahead of its competitors. With ultra wide frequency response of 5Hz-33kHz form its 53mm neodymium drivers. This headphones have power handling capacity of gigantic 3,500mW while easy to drive with 36 Ohm impedance and SPL of 105dB/mW. Bass is deep and details but not interfere with other ranges while overall clarity is exceptional. Mid are great and high also great. It seems as if nothing can escape from this headphones. Someone said this headphones is good for both professionals and audiophiles. (if those audiophile can accept the lesser comfort of the studio headphones) Built of this headphones looks so durable and well prepared for rugged environment on the field service. It can be packed into a small and compact shape to put into a leather pouch for easy carrying. This headphones is also a valuable tools for the sound engineer and musician alike. For those musician you can use this studio monitor as if you are a scientist using microscope to analyse the technique of the great musicians. Revelation of technique of great artist are stunning even on the great pianists such as Horowitz, Richter, Gieles, Arrau, Bolet, Pletnev, Pogolerich, Lang Lang, etc. Details of the art of great guitarist ie. Steve Vai and Yngwie J. Malmsteen on this headphones is a real confirmation of how great they are. What is wrong about the description in Amazon about this headphone is the type of this headphone whidh says it is "Open-Air" type. Actually it is a Closed one. At the back behind the hinge on each side it have only 8 small pressure release holes of which 5 of 8 is covered with acoustic filter. Since it is a Close type headphone so it is more suitable for both studio and loud environment. Only drawback thing in this headphones is the size of its cup. Ear cups are quite small. Eventhough it can cover most of people's ear but some with bigger earlobe will face some problem. Overall : This is a great headphone. It is the "Professional" among the professional headphones. ***** I regret not discovering these sooner. A friend at work introduced me to these headphones. That's what friends are for. A week after receiving them I ordered a second pair; one pair for work and one for home. I got tired of trucking the first pair to work and back home. I listened to music I must have listened to a thousand times before and discovered music I'd never heard. My music collection had acquired a new lease on life. Do NOT operate heavy machinery or care for small children while using these headphones! (Don't even think about driving.) A few months later I bought my third pair. This pair was simply for loaning to friends so they could share in the experience. (I wasn't about to part with my work/home duo.) One of the most rewarding purchases I've ever made. (I'm actually her son :P) I got these headphones to replace my old Roland RH-25s. The Rolands didn't have the treble crispness or bass response that I wanted. These headphones sound great at all frequencies. The bass is clean but not overpowering. The treble end is plenty crisp. I never knew my iPod had so much to offer! For what it's worth, I listen to almost exclusively classical music. I like the fact that these shut out outside sounds so well. They're not as comfortable as the ATH-M40fs's, but these sound better, in my opinion (my dad has the M40fs). With some adjustment, these can be worn for a few hours with no problems. They also fold up too, which is pretty awesome. One thing about them: they're built like a tank. A little heavy, but who cares, anyway? The cord is a good length, nice to have the coiled part if you need it. Overall, I'm glad I paid the incredibly low price at Amazon to get these.

Its 800 mAh lithium-ion battery is rated at up to 3.2 hours of talk time. It runs on the CDMA 850/CDMA 1900 frequencies. The phone comes with a one year limited warranty.
Poor battery life makes phone essentially useless The specs for this phone state it has 3.2 hour talk time and 9.5 days standby. However, I charge my phone at night, but the battery has already run down by the time I finish work the next day. I have already had the battery replaced twice and the phone sent for repair by the store (it was returned without any work and a comment that it is "basically functional". The only way I could actually use this phone would be to charge it at home at night, then charge it again at work during the day. Otherwise, I leave work with a dead phone every day. I wouldn't praise it too highly. This phone is rather decent if you don't plan on talking too much. The battery life isn't awful; it will stay alive for two days at best, that's without talking on the phone for more than an hour a day. I loved the compactness of this phone, and the user interface was pretty straightforward. It was also very durable; it was dropped a good number of times without any visible scratches, and it even went through an entire wash cycle. There was slight water damage to the inside of the screen, but the battery is sealed nicely in there so after it stood under the hairdryer for a while, I was able to use it normally again. The external screen is nice and sleek but prone to smudging and fingerprints. A minor detail, but a small pet peeve of mine. The only major drawback to this phone was texting. Every time I would type in a certain word or symbol, the phone would freeze up! After about two minutes it would unfreeze, but most of the time I would have to take the battery out and restart the phone. I hated it, especially if i was in the middle of a long text!! I would have to type it all over again. The other drawback to texting was when using T9, the different word options only pop up after a 3-letter word. So when typing 2-letter words that use the same sequence of two keys, like 'of' & 'me', or 'on' & 'no', I'd have to switch to the alphabet mode, type the word, then switch back to T9 mode. THAT was also very annoying. All in all, an okay phone, if you plan on using it only when you need to. 12 hour battery life Ok, so it is cute and trendy, but the battery life is not practical. Even with no calls or texting, I am lucky to get 12 hours of the phone just being on before it dies. The store says that 12 hours is "good." If you need a phone you can use, this is not it.

Sony Pro MDR-7506 Headphones
From Sony

The MDR7506 large diaphragm foldable headphones are designed for professional studio and live/broadcast applications.PRODUCT FEATURES:Rugged Design;Folding Construction;40 mm Driver Unit;Closed-Ear Design;Stereo Unimatch Plug;Gold Connectors and OFC Cord;Supplied Soft Case.
Color: black Brand: Sony Model: 7506 Dimensions: 3.00 pounds

Pristine sound My internet research and experience with these indicates that they are at least as good, and probably better, than anything else for the price. The sound quality from these headphones is fantastic. You can pick out the individual voices of the backup singers. Things like the drummer's brushes sound vastly improved, and many other little details. I have created mp3s using LAME at the "insane" quality setting, 320 kilobits/sec, with optimizations, and I can distinguish subtle sounds in the original stream that are muted or altered in the MP3. Poor quality recordings, or overly compressed MP3s sound terrible compared to what these headphones are capable of. I find it most impressive compared to lesser headphones in pieces that have vocals and acoustical instruments. The headphone has an ultra-low impedance, 24 ohms, which means it can be easily powered by portable players, and achieve more than enough volume. Since a 1/4" screw-on adapter is included, so this headphone can be used equally well on your portable or your home stereo. Both the base mini plug and 1/4" adaptor are gold-plated. If use this headphone on a portable player with a large disc, you may be tempted to keep your most listened-to recordings uncompressed (or in the FLAC lossless format, for the few devices that support that). According to my research, the headphones have an extremely even response over the whole spectrum. That means that what you are hearing is pretty close to the original intent when the music was mixed. Some users have complained that the bass response is low -- but I think that's compared to headphones / earbuds / in-ear monitors whose bass response is too high. If you don't like the bass response, simply change the equalizer settings on your unit. The headphone has a closed design, blocking out outside sounds. This is the best way to go in my opinion, because with outside noise you need to raise the volume higher to achieve the same clarity, and you risk damaging your hearing. These headphones can be played at low volumes and still sound great. The only other option for "closed-ear" is some of the ear-sealing in-ear-monitors, but the good ones are very, very expensive. The in-ear-monitors also have the disadvantage that the sounds of brushing the cable, and even sometimes your own breathing and heartbeat, is trasmitted to your ear. The headphone can also be used as a monitor headphone, i.e. to hear what you are recording while you are recording it--that in fact is it's primary intent. There is basically no sound leakage so it works very well--also meaning your won't annoy those around you when you listen to music. I own a Sony Hi-MD (MZ-RH910), which I record voice audio with, and so this monitor ability is very welcome. I find the headphone very comfortable. Like any closed headphone, it does make your ears warm, but I have not found this to be noticably uncomfortable. I believe this headphone is suppossed to be more over-the ear rather than on the ear (i.e. like Sennheiser HD 25-SP), but be warned that the opening for each ear is small -- my ears barely fit in them, and I do not have large ears. From a comfort point of view, I recommended that you try this set on before purchasing them. I tried mine on before buying and purchased them from a retail outlet. Another plus for this set is that only one cable comes out of the left side of the unit, the connection to the right channel is through the arch over your head. Furthermore, the cable drops out about 1 inch from your neck, so it usually doesn't touch you. I find this greatly preferable to having cables hanging out of both sides of your head that always seem to be brushing you somewhere. All earbuds, in-ear-monitors, and even many hyper-expensive headsets (i.e. Sennheiser HD 650), have cables coming out of both ears. The Sony 7506 headphone is super-rugged, exceptional quality from start to finish. The only possible negative I see is the cable -- it's a non-removable, long, thick, heavy-duty coiled cable. For use on your home stereo, it's great. But for use outside the home on a digital music player, it is inconvenient, as the bundled coiled cable probably takes as much space as your player. However, it's not unusable, from the left earpiece there is just enough straight cable to reach down to your waist -- where you can stuff the coiled cable in your pocket or in a case along with your player. But if you plan on using this mostly on a digital player outside your home, this alone could a be deal buster. It is also fairly bulky to carry around. You can probably forget about using this headphone on your bicycle, or while jogging, or anything where you are moving around outside. Overall, this is a very well made set of headphones that will deliver beautiful and pristine sound at a reasonable price. Highly recommended. One * less for comfort... 1) The SONY 7506 achieves very serious sound isolation - it cuts ambient noise of high orders of magnitude quite effectively (like inside a small aircraft), and doesn't transmit ANY sound to the outside. Full marks on this point, since that was an important factor for me - ideal for workplace and commuting. 2) Low 24 Ohms impedance, ideal for portable audio. Typically, portable audio comes without a pre-amp stage, so high input impedances on headphones lead to very low playing volumes. Full marks on performance with portable audio. 3) Foldable, makes it so much easier to carry than a comparable full-size non-folding piece. 4) Audio reproduction is decent, but not exceptional. Bass suffers - its a little boomy and has the least volume compared to treble and midrange. I think that is a direct side-effect of being acoustically sealed and isolated. Treble and midrange are just fine, with treble dominating more than I would like. My other Hi-Fi headset, the Sennheiser HD-570 may have spoilt me on this point. The Senn sounds far better, but fails on points 1 through 3. 5) For me - not too comfortable. My ears get pinched a little and hurt, but i'm getting used to it. My head and ears are larger than average. If you're average tending tending to the small, you'll be fine. This headset is full-size circum-aural, making it more comfortable than any generic headset that touches the ears, or presses on them in any way. ########### After months of listening, I am upgrading the sound reproduction to Excellent, but still not exceptional. The bass has cleared up and is now crisp. I would say the biggest asset of this headset is its faithful reproduction, with no artificial accents, highlights or timbre. BYO ! The Standard If you've read down far enough to find this review, you probably already know that these are the professional studio monitor headphones used by pretty much anyone with a mixing board - from Celine Dion to Slipknot, from NFL broadcasts to The Howard Stern Show, these are the way most recording artists and studios hear every note and nuance. If you're not already convinced, read on. Most new 7506 owners are awed by their headphones before even hearing them, at least by the packaging. The headphones themselves rest on gently tousled silver silk behind a clear plastic window emblazoned with a large gold "7506". The presentation alone gives the potential buyer the feel of buying a giant engagement ring, but the theatrics end once you open the box. Getting down to business inside is a very serious schematic diagram documenting the complete parts and assembly list of the fifty or so pieces that go into making this single pair of headphones, a 1/8" to 1/4" adapter (the screw-on type, a must for live use), and a pleather carrying pouch. The 7506s are visually almost an anti-climax to the packaging. The design is very basic and straightforward without any tricks or frills, but simplicity is part of the appeal here. Every detail has been engineered to work simply and simply work. The steel band size adjustment snicks into place confidently at each numbered groove. Both earcups rotate vertically a full 180 degrees on their hinges with ease. The 1/8" plug has an all-metal casing with a real rubber sleeve, as you'd find on actual pro audio music cables. The more deeply you look into each element of the design, the more you'll appreciate how much Sony also looked into it. Putting on the 7506s is also an easy affair, thanks to their eight ounce weight and modest profile. They're actually small enough that you could get away with wearing them in public, but you wouldn't hear much else - the closed design combined with cushy stuffed vinyl pads and secure, if not tailored, fit means the ambient sound isolation borders on noise-cancelling. The earcups can also be folded upwards against the inside of the headband for portability - so portable in fact, that you could place a folded set of 7506s in a child's lunchbox *with room to spare*. But if ever a good thing came in a small package, it's the big sound of these headphones. Ruler flat response, deep sound stage, and sniper tight accuracy means every aspect of the source signal comes to life and is revealed in full. Bass notes come through with such authority that you find yourself occasionally making note of your feet, to see if you can feel the bass in the floor. Instrument placement is at once obvious - parsing out where each instrument and sound is in a mix is instantly clear. Previously hidden and obscure sounds and passages in various tracks stand out so well that entire songs are made new again. There just isn't any sound that the 7506s can't reproduce exactly as you'd hear it with your own ears. Those of you who like to tailor your sound with extra helpings of bass or volume have also been accommodated - On the low end, using even the most basic bass boost the 7506s can faithfully reproduce subwoofers-in-the-trunk neighborhood-wide bass *in your head*. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't heard it myself. Volume-wise, a low impedance matched with a high power handing capacity means these headphones are easily driven by an iPod or Walkman, yet can easily achieve volume levels that could liquefy your inner ear without even the implication of distorting. Plainly speaking, whatever you want the 7506s to do, they'll do it with ease. Keep in mind that revealing everything requires a good source. Plugging these into a cheaper portable or poorly EQ'd equipment will quickly make any and all limitations evident. This includes cheap computer audio hardware and low frequency/bandwidth MP3s. Uncompressed file formats suddenly seem a lot more practical when you can hear the constraints of highly compressed MP3s. "Audiophile" sites and reviews have had a hard time coming to grips with these headphones. Being that they're a consumer brand product available at any common music store at a fraction of the price of most other high-end models, the "elite" image and price tag that goes along with it just aren't a part of the 7506's game. It's reflected in some reviews, some saying they're "too bassy", others "too bright", but how exactly is this possible if you're using a decent source and the same headphones the musicians/engineers used to create the recording? You're hearing the music exactly as it was heard in the studio, exactly as it was meant to be heard. Only the 7506s can make that promise. If you're creating any kind of recordings and find yourself crossing your fingers that you're hearing it as it's actually being recorded, or just a music lover who feels it's time to hear the music as it was meant to be heard, you're only a hundred dollars away from the Sony MDR-7506. Five stars and my highest recommendation to Sony's masterpiece.

From Vtech

Vtech 5.8 GHz Cordless Phone with Caller ID

The handset features a large, lighted display that makes for easy viewing. The CS5111 is caller ID/call waiting compatible, which tells you the name, number, time and date of incoming calls, even when you're already on the phone. It stores the information of the last 45 callers. The phone has a phonebook directory that stores 20 names and numbers which can be dialed with the touch of a button. There are also nine speed dial presets and an indicator alerting you of a waiting voicemail. Users can choose from a set of ringtones to personalize their phone. The handset fits comfortably in the hand and the phone includes a wall mount bracket for placement options.
I'm Impressed, I'm Cheap, I'm Listening, I'm Happy! After my home phone broke, I was looking for a cheap replacement. Like most households now are not using their home phones, I still keep a home phone just in case, and talk to the occasional telemarketer that get passed the Do Not Call list(j/k) Well I was looking for reliable, caller ID, high frequency that won't interfere with my wireless network, Back lit, and most importantly Cheap. I have purchased V-Tech before and had no problems. At first I was skeptical but I have come to give some cheaper brands a try. It is easy to set up. The buttons are nice and big, Caller ID back lighting is great, enough to see when it rings in the dark. It does not interfere with my wireless network which is important cause we have 4-6 computers/laptops connected. The sound is clear and crisp. You cannot go wrong with this phone and its price. Love the little thing My 15 year old Radio Shack cordless died so I got this one VTech CS5111 as a replacement. I also have 4 other cordless telephones in use throughout the home and external buildings. The Vtech is equal to or better than all of them. I found the audio normal and the phone comfortable to my ear. It is very simple to operate. I would certainly buy one again. Buy Cheap, Get Cheap I bought this phone because I wanted minimal gadgetry for a minimal price. I got what I wished for and less. This phone does work, is light in weight, and does look good. Except for the three small buttons on the bottom row, the backlit buttons are large and easy to see and easy to push. Sound quality is not stellar, but is more than adequate. Two gripes are the dimly lit display that in no way measures up to the brightly lit screen shown on the packaging. Also dialing is slower than other phones I've used, but that's a minor complaint. In retrospect I wish I'd spent a little more for a phone with a speakerphone feature. This isn't a bad phone for a second, third or fourth option. It's a good phone for that spare bedroom, but not the best choice for one's primary phone.

Brand: VTECH COMMUNICATIONS INC Model: GZ2335 Dimensions: 5.70" h x 8.50" w x 3.90" l, 3.00 pounds

FINALLY! A PHONE THAT WORKS IN MY STONE HOUSE! I have tried countless cordless phones in my house, but had not found one that would work beyond the room with the base in it - until I brought this Vtech home. It is cute - there are three trim color choices (all included): silver, blue & pink, a variety of ring tone choices, including music, flashing lights & other cutesy things. OK, it's not my usual style, but it's fun & it works like a cordless should! I would love to get an expandable system with an intercom, but I haven't found one that works, yet. I hope it doesn't take another 4 years of trial & error for that, too. As the GigaHertz increase, my reception decreases. Somebody please make a cordless that works throughout the entire spectrum (900 MHz - 5.8 GHz)! I highly recommend this product! Not for everyone This phone will not work for you if you use Vonage for your telephone service. I spent a day and a half going through the manual and still could not make or receive any calls. Simple cordless phone that works. We live in a small house so I can't review it for distance, but it is an attractive and comfortable phone with clear sound. The display is not the greatest, but it can be read when looking straight at it. It does have a couple cheesey/gimmicky features like silly ringtones and flashing keypad, but all-in-all a good inexpensive cordless phone for those that don't need a lot of options.

Even the exterior camera lens is stronger, as it is made with chemically hardened glass. Despite its slimmer profile, the RAZR2 V9x offers enhanced dual screens that make the phone seem larger. With up to 8 GB of storage (via optional MicroSD memory card), the RAZR2 V9x can store up to 1000 of your favorite songs. Perfect flip phone I purchased this phone shortly after it became available and LOVED it...until I got it wet and fried the thing. My fault I know. Anyway, the point is...this phone had a GREAT viewing screen, phone buttons weren't too small and the camera was very clear. Internet access was great! I loved this phone so much that even with everything else on the market...I am getting another one!!! NO 3.5mm adapter included.(Amazon now admits and reflects its NOT included in purchase, notice the ad now). 8gb sdhc does work. The Good. The promotional price. I paid 49.99. NEW INFO. I was refunded 10.00 so I could purchase the adapter, thank you Amazon. Its a lovely phone. The 8gb micro sdhc card does work, I have one in mine. The brightness and large screens and sound are good. All kinds of features included. I like the option to print pictures. I havent tried it yet, but I like its included! The paper tab to help instal and uninstall the battery. Keep it flat though or the battery cover will not go back on correctly. The speaker phone option works good too. Shipping was superfast AFTER they finally got the phone in stock. Having a Razr previously with ATT and it was very durable, so hoping this one will be also. The glass is suppose to be chemically enhanced to help strengthen it. The Bad. Well I just discovered as with my old V3, I loose reception when entering a building right away, as my friends keep talking away on their phone. I can hear better I cant hear longer. Along with bad talk time and difficult battery door and tightness of the charger connection. Im not satisfied with this purchase. Depending on when you purchase it, the price keeps changing. The Paper Thin batter cover is hard to remove and put back on. The micro usb battery connection is very hard to use, I hope it doesnt dislodge inside the phone. Espcially since the phone needs to be recharged constantly, the battery life is as little as reviews state. The memory card slot being under the paper thin battery door, that is very hard to remove and reinstall. Battery life for talk time is not good at all, standby is fine. I have to charge it every other day on average. The front screen buttons and smart side buttons are difficult to use, but at least you will not connect to the internet without trying to intentionally. The phone seems heavier than my Razr3, itll take time I guess to get use to it. I did not enjoy not recieving the 3.5mm headphone adapter and being told to return the phone to try and get it. UPDATE, Amazon is refunding enough to purchase this item, issue resolved after alot of contact with them, but the issue is resolved. Games, I cannot find any games that you can purchase just yet. Support for this new phone is hard to find also since it is new. The attitude of email replies from customer service cellphone support. Their just plain rude. I think they are overworked and under trained. The one thing to point out in purchasing, until you get the Congradulations ATT approved you, you can get emails stating shipping dates etc, and they mean nothing until the congradulations email is recieved. Also, hard as they are to follow, the instructions to activate the phone are totally here on Amazon, dont waste your time going to the ATT office, that is not the correct way to activate this phone, and they havent a clue whats going on. I found this out the hard way. Just use Amazon and read their emails and links. IN the end, I got a good deal for the price. I now see in another review a feature not working, sync with calender, I wonder if other features are not included. ATT should provide Amazon the proper advertising for the product. I do not feel Amazon is responsible for the problems, ATT is. I would recommend purchasing a phone from Amazon.com for ATT though as the prince is cheaper. Great phone, missing key items This is a great flip-phone, beautiful bright screen, great call quality. However, I found out after buying it with a 2year AT+T contract that AT+T disables the SyncML application on the phone so there's no way to sync the phone's calendar with whatever calendar you use. Which makes the calendar pretty worthless and significantly detracts from the phone's usefulness.
