Finally! A really good cordless phone5
I have gone through more than 15 types of cordless phones in the last several years. Some of them very good, but not perfect, others fairly awful. When I was doing my research this time for a new phone, I came across DECT 6.0 technology. It claims no interference with WiFi networks, greater range, clear transmission and extended battery life. Bottom line, it's pretty much true.

I've used this phone for a week and it is crystal clear, no interference with my WiFi network, no "hiccups" with a call, like static or audible digital artifacts. My 5.8 Ghz phone would let me talk with a range of maybe 100 feet outside of my house with the front door closed. This telephone lets me go to the end of my driveway, across the cul de sac, and into my neighbor's driveway without sound degradation. I'd guess that I'm getting about 3x the distance of my 5.8 Ghz phone in a real world situation.

The great thing about this phone is that the battery life is awesome. The phone claims up to 17 hours of talk time and several days of standby. I make a lot of conference calls from my home, and I'm on the phone about 6 hours per day. I'd have to switch cordless phones during the day with ANY 5.8Ghz phone, as they'd last anywhere from 3 to 5 hours. I've made 2 days of calls, for a total of 11 hours, and the battery indicator still shows a full charge, without being placed back into the charger. I'm going to keep it out of the charger in standby and talk until the battery runs down, to accurately gauge the battery life, but it would appear that the 17 hours of talk time is a realistic estimate. By the way, the phone uses traditional AAA rechargeable batteries (x2), for each handset. My 5.8 Ghz phone used 3, and had a max talk time of about 5 hours.

The keys on this phone are bigger than other phones, another plus in my book. I'd always misdial a number with smaller buttons. I have yet to misdial with these keys. They're the perfect size.

I don't use the answering machine, as I have telephone company voicemail. The only downside to this phone is that the message waiting indicator for telephone voicemail, doesn't work. I've set it to "on", on every phone, and my 5.8Ghz phone will flash the voicemail alert, but these handsets aren't flashing. I've had this problem with other phones, especially VTech, so I'm thinking that most phones work, there must be something about the connection into my house that doesn't get the call message alert to the phone. I have DSL and filters in the house. Maybe this is the cause?

Anyway, overall, this is a really good set of phones, they work great, have great sound, and the battery life is stellar. I'm really happy with this purchase. You should probably consider DECT 6.0 going forward. It's MUCH better than 5.8Ghz technology, in my opinion.

UPDATE:

As an update to my review, the phone is now in it's 16th hour of talk time, with 5 days of standby (no charging) and it's still working on the last bar of the battery indicator. I'd say that the 17 hours of talk time is a conservative number. As stated previously, the battery life is the best that I've ever experienced with a cordless phone. Actually, incredible by today's standards.

"Busy..."3
I have had this exact phone system for 6 months and loved it so much during the first month I had it I convinced a friend to buy it too. However, I am now leaving a "long-term" review which I appreciate more than those who review products they have had for only days... (although it is nice to see immediate reactions when products first come out)

First with the negatives:

- Both myself, and the friend who I talked into buying the phone are both getting the same error and it is increasingly becoming worse. After dialing a number and hitting either the "talk" or "speaker phone" button a "Busy" is often displayed on the screen and the phone refuses to dial. This went from happening once or twice a week to everyday.

- Since day one there has been a bit of a hollow tinny noise on both of our phones but the clarity and lack of "fuzz" was fantastic so I was willing to overlook this.

- Certain display functions come and go. Luckily none of them are important... yet. For example, the lines that make up the outline of the battery on the display of the phone come and go as they please. This has happened to the [] that surrounds the number of the phone.

- Not enough room for contacts. I am not a phonebook person and love to store tons of numbers on the phone. Not enough for me but your needs may be different.

- I know this is nitpicky and no stars were lost for this but I miss the alarm "snooze button" feature on my last phone so that the phone by my bed was my alarm clock as well. Made the bedside table less cluttered. No snooze button here.

Positives:

- That is one loud or quiet ringer depending on the setting... wonderful!

- The speaker phone function is the best I have had on a phone thus far.

- The charge lasts forever. For once a company is not exaggerating their claim about how long the batteries last.. in fact I think they last longer than Panasonic claims. A downside to this, I no longer put the phones on the charger at night (or during the day) and can never seem to find them. (Again, no stars lost for my laziness).

- The range on this phone is fabulous. My last phone worked at the neighbors house with much "fuzz." I can go over to my neighbors and it works in every room of their house with no interference or noise.

- This phone does not freak out when I use my microwave. Most phones I have used do. Yeahhhhhh!!!!

- Although I don't use it (because it is creepy)I like the call screening function on the phone. I live in a small house and hearing my friends and family leave messages from three phones in surround sound is too much. If I was in a two story home I would be obsessed with this. Also could be great for when you are in the shower to hear the message being left. If it is the cable company finally calling you back after weeks of phone tag it would be worth jumping out and grabbing it.

All-in-all I have been extremely pleased with the phone and, until the recent errors, would have given the phone four stars because of the battery life, speakerphone quality, and range. These frequent errors (and the fact that someone I know is having this problem too) knocks off a star as a warning to others out there that a non-isolated problem does exist on this fairly fabulous phone.

Outstanding call clarity + software...but no visual display on answering machine5
For those who think all cordless phones are alike, au contraire. I've struggled with crackly 900 mhz lemons, 1.8ghz with non-existent range, 2.8ghz housed in faulty answering machine units, and 5.8ghz paperweights where every call was a lesson in hearing impaired.

The KX-TG1033S, however, is a refreshingly great wireless phone system that finally gets it right. Extremely intelligent software plays messages through every unit when call screening, likewise playback of the answering machine is available from each handset. Related, the LCD display is very sharp, ring (and tones) very customizable. (If you're so inclined, each of the 3 units can play a different tone upon ring.) Love the detailed status information when the phone is not in use.

Most importantly, call clarity is outstanding. Standard and speaker are both surprisingly strong, crystal clear over digital phone service. There is no disparity across any of the 3 units based on physical location and/or being housed in the base answering machine. (A common flaw in other expandable wireless phone systems.) I've likewise encountered no range difficulties even when fielding calls in the front/back yards. Not a hiss, signal loss, nothing. The ability to transfer calls, intercom to other units is nothing short of awesome.

A couple of minor glitches worth noting: The Panasonic Menu IS as complicated as advertised. There is a learning curve -- albeit small -- in how to navigate them before features can truly be maximized. You will be reading the instruction manual, unfortunately. Moreover, the initial charge/battery calibration takes FOREVER. ((Be prepared for a half a day (or more) without your new phones.)) Battery life, however, seems infinite following this early lesson in patience.

Second, there is no graphical display on the answering machine. Thus, number of missed calls/messages becomes unfortunate guesswork. Arguably the greatest tradeoff of a system this high in quality.

These misgivings aside, the KX-TG1033S comes very highly recommended, at a very attractive price point to boot. Sister, high quality expandable systems can cost upwards of a hundred dollars more.

FYI: You might find yourself unable to pull caller ID up on your phones if attached to a fax machine. This is easily remedied via a cheap splitter (despite contradictory info from Panasonic tech support).

Good Sound But Poor Fit3
I bought these to make my recent urge to running tolerable. The sound quality is good but, after wearing them during increasingly strenuous runs, I found they slip out of my ears as I sweat. Also, the sound piece, which only comes in one size, is too large for my ear opening. So, don't buy these thinking you can use them during your workout but, they are a fine choice for everyday use.

Amazing Sound5
I recently replaced an old pair of buds with this set, and was more or less blown away by the sound quality. Whoever designed these earphones had acoustical quality on the top of his or her mind. The fit is a bit awkward at first, but they can be positioned comfortably after minimal adjustment. Great earphones for listening to music with a wide dynamic range (i.e. classical), though as others have mentioned they're probably not ideally suited to working out.

Reasonable price, good sound, good fit for me, secure5
Right out of the box, when I tried these one, they fit me like a glove. nice soft, comfortable fit without digging into my canal, and secure behind my big ears. I got these mainly for my wife, and they work good for her too, better than the large ones that came with our mp3 player. The sound is excellent, even though the range is not as good as others. However, overall, the design, size, and comfort win out, and these were well worth the investment. Try these out, worth a listen.

For tech heads, here are the few specs listed on the box:
20-20000hz
100db
16 ohm
15 mW
4ft, 1.2m cable
3.5mm stereo plug

Pleased over all4
Very happy with this little gadget so far. Easy to use, Comfortable to wear. No problems with with hearing or being heard (unless the signal is bad, but that isnt the blue tooth's fault) The shipper was fast and the price was outstanding..

It's Great!5
Great little product. For the price, it has good sound, almost no background noise, and most of all, it's comfortable to wear for long periods of time.

Terrific5
I really love this bluetooth. Instead of putting something in my ear it just sits against my ear. The sound quality is just as good and the comfort is so much better. I highly recommend it.

Owner since 19925
I bought these headphones in 1992, and unlike most of the rest of the stuff I squandered my money on back then, these were and continue to be the real deal.

My earpads have flaked off their coating like everyone else. But no need to buy new phones, you can order the earpads from sony.com or some specialty audio stores:

MDR-V6/MDR-7506 Ear Pad
PART: X-2113-124-1
PRICE: $6.00 (US)

A Classic5
I can't recall how long I've owned my MDR-V6 phones, but it's easily been ten years. The sound is excellent, virtually uncolored, and unlike other top of the line headphones like Sennheiser's (which are VERY nice and well over $150.00) these sound as good used with a portable CD player as with a well powered home system.

It was time to replace them since the cord is finally shorting too much to ignore any longer and my ears are always covered with black stuff and foam from the disintergrating earcups. I asked around and a colleague who is the audio technician on a popular TV show told me without hesitation, these are the ones to buy. It's what he uses on the set and at home. I'm glad Sony still makes 'em. Maybe I should buy another pair for ten years down the road...

BE CAREFUL ABOUT IGNORING THE COMFORT REVIEWS3
I read and read and read the reviews on these and paid close attention to the comments on the tightness of the headphones. Nearly everyone says that the sound quality is so fantastic that it makes up for the uncomfortableness. I decided to go ahead and purchase them. Got them about 10 hours ago. While the sound is truly fantastic and getting better with every hour played (That break-in time suggested is definitely true.) the tightness on my ears is not making me happy. I'm a woman and do not have a big head or ears, in my opinion, and these phones are almost as uncomfortable as my previous pair of [...] Sony V150s. I'm trying to ignore it and hoping it gets more tolerable, but so far no. Even within a few minutes my ears start itching from the tightness.

I am boycotting Bose for their ridiculously inflated prices, but my mom has a pair of the Bose QuietComfort 3 Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones, and I LOVE them! [...] though. Yikes! I'm contemplating the Bose Triports I've been testing every time I go to Target. They are light as a feather and the sound seemed good from the demos. However, all reviews complain of the quality of the build on the headband. I don't want to pay [...] just to have the phones fall apart in a few months.

So, in my continuing quest I found some reviews on the V6 that mention replacing the pads with a velour pad from Beyerdynamic. The reviews on the difference in comfort are quite convincing. I'm buying these immediately and will report back my findings. [...]

All in all, I just wanted to write my review for anyone else that may be waffling on the comfort issue. Many say the sound is so good that it's worth the discomfort. Not for me. Comfort is a huge part of enjoying my time listening to music. I'm not an audiophile either though, so maybe it is worth it for those that can tell the difference in every type of sound. The sound in these is pretty awesome though. A couple of raw recorded songs that I was listening to with talking at the end actually caused me to jump because I thought someone was right behind me. I hope the replacement pads work because the sound quality is excellent, especially at this price.

Thanks for reading. BTW, I should have given them 4 stars but can't change it.

2/8/08 - The pads help some but they still pinch my ears a bit. I found that taking out the middle foam section actually helps give my ear more room to hang out in there, but...... I actually went out and bought the Bose Triports, and while the comfort level was much better, the sound quality compared to the Sony's doesn't even compare, especially if you enjoy bass. I tried to like the Bose enough to justify the [...] I paid for them, but after several days of comparing they have been packaged up and will be returned to Target. The Sony's blow them out of the water. I am going to keep trying to get used to the pinch. That's how much I love these things, just like everyone else writes about. I've been hooked. I'm listening with them right now, and I'm in my own world. The kids could be screaming and I couldn't hear a thing. Probably not the best thing to do to my husband. LOL
UPDATE 5/14/08 - still loving these things, but I'm still getting the itchy ear when listening for any length of time. The velour pad replacement has made it 50% better though. The coil cord is also heavy. I can't leave it hang down. I have to pick it up and lay it on my lap so the pull isn't there. (I plug into my hard drive which is on the floor.) All in all though, I'm still very happy with my purchase. One more thing I would suggest, however, is to be careful when you pull the cord out of the jack. Be sure to pull from the metal and not anywhere on the plastic. I can see how these might get broken after a while if you always pull from the plastic. Happy listening!
8/25/08 - When you come back to edit your review this many times, you must be passionate about the product. And I am. Still love these phones. I'm used to the tightness now. One of my best purchases for the money.

  • Brand: Sony

  • Dimensions: .0" h x .0" w x .0" l, 1.40 pounds

The Sony MDR-7506 Professional Large Diaphragm Headphone is a large diaphragm foldable headphone designed for professional studio and live/broadcast applications. These large diaphragm, foldable headphones feature a rugged construction, a secure, highly effective closed-ear design, and a 40 millimeter driver unit for clean, clear sound reproduction. The closed-ear design provides both comfort and outstanding reduction of external noises. The included Stereo UniMatch plug allows use in both 1/4-inch and 1/8-inch applications. A soft case for protective storage is included with the headphones.

Tried them all--these are the best.5
I run a digital arts studio and teach digital arts, and have tried more than a dozen different headphones in the $15 to $250 price range. Again and again, I go back to using the MDR-7506 for all applications from digital video shooting and editing to music recording and studio mastering. Most of the pros I know also use the MDR-7506 when they have a choice--and buy them for use at home too.

What makes these the best? First and foremost, excellent reproduction from bass into the high end, with unrivalled "punch" and clarity. They are much louder at a given input volume than most headphones, which is important if your are recording in the field and need to hear the headphone monitoring above the ambient sound and the live sound around you. They are comfortable, instantly adjust to different head sizes without any fussing, sturdy and easily repairable, and stowe quickly and easily in the included soft drawstring bag.

I do keep a couple of pairs of high-end ($300+) headphones to check as references when mastering music, but honestly I seldom find anything with them that isn't already clear with the 7506es.

The only problem I can report is that, even though they invariably outlast other headphones in terms of wear-and-tear, they do get STOLEN more often by my students. Once you get used to the 7506, its hard to go back to using any other headphones that cost less that twice their price.

I still dream of someday discovering a comparable headphone set for half or a quarter the price of the MDR7506. Every year, I buy a few $25 or $50 models just out of hope. So far, however, nothing out there qualifies as "acceptable" to me--including the many competing $99 headphone models from other companies and even from Sony.

Bottom line: Don't hesitate. You absolutely cannot go wrong with the MDR7506. This is the headphone of choice, the industry standard. The only reason they're so cheap is MARKET VOLUME--Sony sells a lot of these to audio and video pros!!

Oh My Gawd is an understatement!5
This is the first time that I've left a product review of any type, but I just felt that I had to....

I'm not an expert in audio, but I DID get tired of less expensive headphones just not living up to my expectations.

These Sony headphones are worth every penny. First, they have plenty of volume - something lesser headphones lack. Sometimes I just wanna ROCK - I want it LOUD. Most headphones dis-appoint on that.

So - I bought these because I read a review saying that they had higher volume at lower settings. Not only am I pleased with the volume (even when only connected to my ipod!), but the sound quality is STUNNING.

FANTASTIC Bass - You'd SWEAR that there is a sub-woofer operating somewhere, and the highs are all there. VERY impressive dynamic range.

Ok - I'll stop being a salesman for Sony. Let's just say that I was impressed enough to leave my FIRST product feedback. Buy these headphones, you will NOT be disappointed.

Ron (yoda)

Can't beat the performance for the price4
These headphones are very much worth the price. I have approximately 20-30 high-end headphones. I have spent as much as $900.00 for the top of the high-end headphones. Each set offers different things that are wonderful.

The Sony 7506 is no frills. No leather covered earpads or aluminum fittings. They fit snugly, but not as constrictive as Sennheiser 600 or 650. They do not float on your head like the audiophile Audio-Technica models which are excellent. The earpads fit on the ear rather than surrounding the ear like Audio-Technica. The phones are closed back and achieve a very good seal as to outside noise.

As far as sound, I cannot say that they are flat sounding. They have an immediate sound stage. You feel you are on stage with the musicians. There is no sense of separation from the sources of the music. The sound is very joyful and dynamic. They are very easily driven by an Ipod. I have not heard them with a headphone amplifier. I suspect that a headphone amplifier might make them sound overripe if not on the low gain setting.

Often times, I prefer an open-backed headphone because it seems to give you a sound that has more space in it. I like the more subtle approach, but these headphones do not seem too close.

On a technical note, the headphones appear to be made of plastic rather than lightweight metal. The wires that go to each earcup of the headphones are exposed so that they could be pulled if you do not use them very carefully. One thing you will note from the Audio-Technica ATH-AD700 (which is approximately the same price) is that the wires to each of the earcups is hidden inside frame of the headphones. Additionally, I believe (although I am not sure)that the headphone frames of the Audio-Technica ATH-AD700 are metal with metal fittings. I cannot comment on how long the Sony headphones will last because I have only owned the 7506 for a month or so. At the same price, you might want to consider the Audio-Technica ATH-AD700 or the Grado SR-80.

In short, if you are not a fanatical collector of headphones and only want to purchase one pair, this is an excellent choice. By the way, by having more than one set of headphones, you in effect have several different stereos--each sounding rather different than the other. To achieve sound of this caliber from speakers, you would have to spend thousands of dollars to get the quality of sound a listener with good headphones can get from an Ipod featuring huge memory and portability. Lastly, you will not burden everyone around you in your family with having to listen to the same music you are listening to your music.

Panasonic Expandable Digital Cordless Dect 6.0 Phone System (KXTG8232B)
From Panasonic

The KX-TG8232B Expandable Cordless System uses DECT 6.0 technology to provide clear sound, great range and reduced interference with common household devices. The system comes with 2 Handsets and allows you to expand up to 6 handsets.

  • Color: Black
  • Brand: Panasonic
  • Model: KX-TG8232B
  • Dimensions: 6.50" h x 6.90" w x 6.50" l, 2.85 pounds

The Panasonic KX-TG8232B DECT 6.0 Expandable Digital Cordless Phone System with Two Handsets uses the latest DECT 6.0 (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications) technology for outstanding range and clarity. It operates on the 1.9 GHz frequency for less interference from household items such as wireless networks, keyboards, and microwaves, and is less susceptible to eavesdropping. Two handsets are included and up to four additional handsets can be used with the base unit without any need for wires or setup.

An all-digital answering system is built into the base and features flash memory that holds 16 minutes of recording time. The phonebook can hold 50 entries and the Caller ID can be linked to the phonebook so that a certain color gets flashed depending on who is calling. Call-waiting Caller ID shows you the name and number of an incoming call even while you are already on a call. Digital duplex speakerphones are built into the back of both handsets for clear hands-free conversations.

Sleek sexy phone that's missing a couple critical features4
Overall, this phone set is terrific. It features a bright color screen and a sleek glossy black look. (Once you go with a color screen, it's hard to go back) The base station is surprisingly compact. Call clarity is excellent. Speakerphone is plenty loud. You can even check your answering machine through the handset! Panasonic's usual mess of small buttons has been streamlined somewhat to reduce confusion.
A slight gripe is that while Panasonic gives you a color screen, it doesn't really use it to its full potential. You have a choice of *three*, count 'em, three wallpapers. And that's it! All but one are pretty tacky.
A bigger gripe revolves around the answering machine. First of all, Panasonic removed the talking Caller ID that was standard on almost all their previous models. Secondly, there is no on-phone notification that someone left a message on your machine. The *only* indication is a hard-to-see blinking red light on the base station. There is no audio notification that there are new message either (many other phones beep when there's a new message). So unless you are frequently near the base station (which I'm not), you may have messages and not know it.
So in a nutshell:
PROS
Great sound
No WiFi/Bluetooth Interference with DECT6
Compact, sleek styling
Backlit keypad
Good speakerphone
Answering machine operation from handset.

CONS
No audible or visual new message alert on handset
Limited customizability (few wallpapers/ringtones)
No talking caller ID.

Not the dream phone, but good3
My quest for the ideal house phone is on hold for a while, if I change phones again in the near future my wife is going to hit me with something. Nevertheless, I am fairly happy with this phone, which performs well with an excellent battery life ( something that kiled the Philips DECT phone I had bought previously) and good sound quality but has some shortcomings.

A premise: I can only speak for the phone, we do not use the answering machine because we prefer the service provided by our VOIP service, Broadvoice, which allows for email notifications my wife likes.

Pros

Sound quality is very good.
Screen is well sized, allows for easy reading of the caller ID which is a plus for my over 40 eyes, do not need to grab reading glasses which I hate enough already.
Phone size is right, keys are precise and responsive, if a bit small.
As I mentioned, the battery life is very good, and the phone indicates "charge complete" when on the cradle which is useful. With other phones we had, we were always rushing to put them back in the cradle after calls, this one you can leave hanging around for days.

Cons

Volume, volume, volume. Way too low; when I work from home people ask me to raise my voice more than with the Philips phones. It gets tiring when you are working from home.

It has a dedicated Mute button (instead of a soft key appearing only during conversations), which was intelligently placed by their engineers immmediately below the Off button. I have dropped off inadvertenly from conference calls more than once because of this.

It lacks a visual indicator on the unit to notify of VM. Other units have a light blinking on every unit, this model displays a message on the screen which means you have to remember to look at it when you come home.

So, while I can definitively live with this phone long enough to wait for new models to appear, it's not going to be a life long affair.

Best phone I've ever have!5
Target has a great deal for this phone this week (only $78!!) and this store has good return policy (90 days without any re-stocking fee). Hence, I decide to give it a try. I feel completely satisfied and happy with this product after a few days. The phone is stylish, clear, loud, and good battery life. The speaker phone is very clear and loud, which is very important to me so that I can type on my computer at same time. In addition, it comes with lots of extra features such as colorful wall paper (only 3 to choose from), background color customization (blue, yellow, pink, green), caller ID, one-touch dial, phone book with 50 entries, date/time display, alarm clock, lots of ring tones selections ....etc. You can even "copy all" the phone book from one phone to another phone which saves me lots of time from entering the phone book again. There is a cool feature that you can assign different phone numbers to different groups (i.e. family, friend). Each group can be customized with different ring tones and background color! Also, you can listen your record messages from any phone. I don't have anything to complain about this product except I wish the phone can be packed with more cell-phone-like features such as camera and USB/blue tooth so that I can transfer my own ring tone and background pictures from my computer to the phone.

What you really really want!5
A feature rich cordless phone with a small footprint that is easy to use but has an excellent screen with large text size. The antenna that flashes a bright blue when an unreviewed caller resides in the memory is visible from across the room. Sound quality is good. The best choice of all available cordless phones for those experiencing visual and hearing challenges.

Great product5
large display for caller ID, adjustable volume for hard of hearing, blinks blue when there is a phone call also... really does what it promises.
Only complaint is that its range from base is slightly limited but then we tried it from more than 50 ft inside another building so that might not be a common need.

2.4 GHZ Cordless Phone3
Turned out the product was not complementary with our computer system, so I returned it. The return went smoothly.

It sucks1
The more I use these GE phones the more I realize they just plain suck. I have three major complaints:

1. We have a long distance plan where we have to dial an 800 number then enter in the phone number we want to dial. The easy way we used to do it on our old phones is dial the 800 number then wait for the prompt, then go back on the caller ID list and hit dial, then it would dial the number for us. But nooo... not on these phones, YOU CAN'T review your caller id while the phone is in the Talk mode. The buttons only alter the volume. LAME.

2. Both handsets can't be on at the same time. It's one or the other.

3. There is no ringer volume to change, it's either on or off. LAME

other than a little static in the far end of the house... they work ok.

Horrible.1
I never write reviews, but I felt compelled to after paying for this piece of absolute junk (read: $h!t). The static is unbearable, the speaker phone is inaudible at times, the antennas are extremely sensitive and touching them could result in a dropped call. Not to mention, the stored numbers across all phones have suddenly disappeared twice. I never returned these things because I thought I could just put up with it. I was so wrong. Buy a Panasonic and save yourself the trouble.

Awesome Phones5
After Lightning hit close to the house and blew up our last set of phones, we where forced to get the cheap ones to get us by. Now that we got these AWESOME phones it is so nice to be able to walk out of the house and to the truck in the yard and still be able to hear on the phone. They are crystal clear, even with my head set on. They are also very easy to enter numbers into the memory. I say for the money they are above my acspectations, they are very very good phones for your home and I highly recommend them to anyone that wants a good home phone at a nice price.
